Does it generate real video?

Yes when GEMINI_API_KEY is configured — it creates a Gemini Omni Flash task via kie.ai. Duration when video is present is model-decided (best effort) and extend/keep are prompt-based best effort.

What files can I use?

MP4, MOV, WebM, JPG, PNG, WebP under 100 MB. Remote image URLs must be https and under 20 MB per file.

Is this affiliated with Google?

Independent prototype. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Gemini is used as a project nickname only and does not imply a Google product. Live generation is via kie.ai proxy when configured.
